About Hailey
I am an undergraduate student, so I understand the busy nature of life. I also understand that mistakes are part of learning—and without making mistakes, you won't learn. We will work through your math step by step as a team. I want to work with you as a team, not against you. You can expect a calm learning environment every time we meet, with the goals of understanding the concepts and not just rushing through. I believe in the importance of building a relationship with a tutor, because we all make mistakes! And remember—there's no such thing as bad questions!

I am very hands on and make sure that each student gets the individualized attention they need. I create lesson plans tailored to each student's needs and learning styles. I also focus on building the confidence of a student, and creating an atmosphere in which they are not afraid to ask questions but also feel confident enough to move onto the next question alone. I give my students a lot of real world examples to make the math easier to understand in context.
