About Hortense
I'm a former student at the Ecole Centrale de Lyon. I graduated in 2018 from Sciences Po Paris (major: International Relations)
I gave private English and Spanish lessons to several children and adults, and offered homework help and babysitting during my studies.
I'm bilingual French/English and speak Spanish fluently.
I'm also a first aid team member and first aid instructor.

I approach lessons in a free and different way depending on the subject and the age of the student.
In language, I favor dialogue, because many students have pointed out to me that the lessons at school do not place enough emphasis on speaking and listening.
As a general rule, I prefer that students try to do their homework before class, so that we can deepen together the concepts learned in class, or/and explain if it is not very well understood. The idea is to move forward and progress!
Regarding exams or competitions, depending on the student's motivation, I can organize special revision sessions, with opportunity for feedback.
