About Savannah
Hello, my name is Savannah, I've recently graduated high school and I'm currently focused on my post-secondary journey. I am 17 years old but please don't take my age as a factor when considering my skill level. I have tutored a variety of age ranges and am fully prepared to do my best to make any student feel comfortable and ready to learn. I don't mean to brag but almost all of my students have described me as unforgettable and I hope I can do that for you as well. My goal as your tutor is to establish a comfortable space for you to make mistakes and laugh about it too! I make mistakes and my focus is to not discourage this behavior but instead urge anyone to keep trying, keep saying things that you overthink and to throw the nerves out the window. I have tutored young children at both my middle school and high school in both English and Mathematics by my teachers because my achievements in those subjects were more than substantial. They also believed that my likability and patience wouldn't be a deterrent in their academic journey as young students. My lessons would consist of first getting to know my student and introducing what they like into lesson plans in order to gain attention from them, especially for children it's very easy to get distracted and discouraged so keeping them engaged is my number one priority.
