About Devini
I am currently studying Pharmacy at the University of Manchester and would like to offer my help to younger students for their GCSE Maths, Biology and Chemistry. I attained A*s in Maths and Biology and an A in Chemistry, proving that I have a solid understanding of the subjects and being a student myself, I have picked up a number of ways of teaching that may be more understandable to young people. Although I do not currently have any official tutoring experience, I have worked extensively in the university mentoring scheme which mainly includes helping the younger years with the calculations exams we have every year and have had a number of students giving me increasingly positive feedback about my approach. I have also worked in school mentoring schemes before where again, I have found myself able to relate to the younger students and help them in the way they require. I generally consider myself a very friendly and approachable person which enables me to strike up relationships very easily, something which I have personally found quite important in my response to teaching. Through my mentoring work I have also developed a number of different approaches to tutoring, and believe that this could be incredibly helpful to younger students who are looking for that extra understanding!
