About Andrea
I'm an Italian student of Modern Languages and Literatures from the University of Bologna, the world's oldest university, currently in Manchester to perfect my studies and do a traineeship at the University of Manchester. I'm really passionate about English Literature, reading and poetry above all. I'm currently writing also my dissertation on Percy Bysshe Shelley and the Peterloo Massacre. My area of expertise include Early Modern studies (Shakespeare, Renaissance poetry and prose and Drama), Romanticism and Modernism.

My teaching method is based on a close contact and link with texts, therefore carrying out text analyses and penetrating inside the gist of literature, authors, context and times. I also focus on the use of specific language in order to discuss literature with the right tools, though still looking for an intimate and almost emotive relationship between the author and the reader: literature, to me, is just a collection of stories, books, lines, pages which still have something to tell to our modern eyes and ears.
