My teaching method is based on a close contact and link with texts, therefore carrying out text analyses and penetrating inside the gist of literature, authors, context and times.
My teaching method comprises of active learning. I keep my students engaged rather than them having to listen to me talking. After I have explained the key concepts, I usually have a set of problems ready for them to practice.
Kevin Hiscutt Primary Educator Manchester ENGLAND 1.
I prefer to tailor a lesson plan to what a student is working on or towards. I find lessons more beneficial for the learner if it is clear what they're looking to gain from a lesson. Therefore, I am happy to work both ways; you tell me what specifically you want to learn about or I can work methodically through the basics up to more complex aspects of English.
Hi I am Katie! I am 21 years old, currently studying a Masters in 'Developmental and Therapeutic Play' at Swansea University. Previously, I have gained a First Class Honours degree in 'Childhood Studies' at Bangor University. I live in the Brynmill area. I am a confident, very patient individual.
My teaching method is fairly relaxed but at the same time ensuring that they know and learn everything they need to. I like to read to students, create and play games that aid in remembering words for exams, analysing poetry or prose, and generally trying to fit the teaching to the needs of the individual child.
The way I would teach would be first to see how well the students read and this would be done by choosing a book with them that they'd be interested in, after assessing how well they ready I would construct activities that would help in where they struggle.
I am completely open to adapt my teaching style to the preference of my students as I believe everyone learns in different ways. Thus, the preferred learning technique of my student would be the one I will uphold. I am currently in my first year of University and would be open to teach either those completing GCSE's or A Levels.
My teaching focuses more on younger students and adults at beginner level. I have often times used various exercises to introduce the subject and get a feel as to what the student can do. I will provide set literary texts if wanted or I can adapt to specific texts that the student is studying although I will have to know in advance.
My teaching method is interactive and hands on. I encourage students to make use of the resources on the internet to practice, and to use technology where possible. I was a very academic student, and I encourage good organisation skills and as much reading as possible.
I am an Archaeology undergraduate student looking to teach English (literature and language) and History to primary and secondary school pupils. I am also able to tutor for an 11+ exam; having studied at a grammar school, I have personal experience of these skills.
I like to put myself in the characters shoes, see what life is like from their point of view to understand their emotions. I can also help create stories based on real life hardships. I always work at the students pace and do whatever is possible to support them.
My lesson plans will be entirely structured around your needs and ambitions. No matter what your ambitions are, I will create specific content. For example, if it is essay help that you are seeking then I will create tutor material that takes into account your specific exam board's criteria.
I ensure the student is listened to. I work with the student to help them feel comfortable as every student is different it is important for me to help personalise each session for them. I try to get students to lead sessions to help boost confidence and to also understand what areas we need to target.
My main focus will be those seeking tuition within GCSE'S and A-Levels. I seek to tutor in a way that best suits the individual whether it be using images and pictures, posters, mindmaps or simply looking at a textbook and note-taking.
I am a history student living in Manchester and an avid reader.
I will be giving lessons to primary and secondary students. I am flexible with what my students want me to teach. I will focus on the areas in which they are weak while enhancing what they are already familiar with.
My teaching is primarily student - centred. Rather than 'lecturing', I aim to elicit the maximum possible feedback from my student(s). I always review taught material, again, in a student - centred fashion.
I am an ACCA affiliate and M.com with 3 years of teaching experience at home. I have taught more than 25 students. I start each lecture with a story that helps student to develop an interest in the topic. further more i involve students in lecture by constantly asking question. i helps them to listen attentively and remember things easily.
My teaching method primarily depends on the student that I am teaching. I will try and work to their strengths and weaknesses and create a suitable lesson plan that will fully benefit their working and learning styles. I will work with you to achieve the goals that you set out.
I am open to teaching in a way that best suits each individual. I mostly enjoy visual stimulus teaching as I find this most effective but am open to new ideas.
My teaching method is to create as much enthusiasm for the subject as possible, which will help the pupil engage with the topic, and in turn stimulate their interest.
I love to play games, to aid memory retention and to use art, drama and other creative subjects within my teaching too
I like to read extracts and answer a short variety of questions based all around the text that was given
I have many ways on teaching a student. One of this is approaching them if they didn't know the lesson being given to them.
With a love of reading myself, I am keen to give reading lessons to primary and secondary school age children, supporting any help and official programmes they are currently receiving at school by either following the same programme, following a different programme, or simply casually exploring the world of literature with the child.
My teaching method is quite flexible as I have experiences in teaching different learners from kids to teenagers and adults. My philosophy is that the goal of teaching is the use of language in real life. As a result, when teaching language, I focus on speaking and take other skills to support conversation.
My teaching method is to work friendly with the students and giving the main concepts. Helping the students when they are in any problem. Testing students by giving them different questions so that they sort out it at home. Most of the work will be done in classes.
