About Jacob
I have always had a passion for the sciences. However, during my early years of education, I sometimes struggled to understand difficult concepts. Having teachers who were able to break down difficult concepts into simple understandable ideas made a huge difference to my learning and helped me develop a genuine appreciation for the subjects.
As a tutor, I aim to provide that same support to my students. I understand how frustrating it can be when a topic just doesn’t seem to make sense, and I believe that with the right explanation and approach, even the most challenging concepts can become much more manageable. I would love to help the next generation of students build their confidence, strengthen their understanding, and develop their own passion for the sciences.

Hello I am Jacob, a Pharmacy student studying in Portsmouth. I love to share my passion for the sciences by tutoring. Turning seemingly difficult concepts into simple understandable ideas is a key strategy I use.
I offer 1-2 hour lessons in person or online. I teach Chemistry and Biology at GCSE and A-level. I have limited experience but am trying to build my portfolio.
