About Vanathi
I am a fun-loving and hard-working university student who loves to teach in my spare time! I have always enjoyed and been well-suited to working with children and have just returned from a year in Madrid where I worked as a teaching assistant at a primary school.
As well as teaching, I made the most of my year abroad by immersing myself in Spanish culture and making friends with young Spaniards who showed me the city from their perspective. It was an amazing experience and I am eager to share my insight into Spanish culture with my students who are Spanish lovers like myself!
I tutor Maths and English for pre-GCSE as I really enjoyed these subjects and excelled in them at school. I have preserved all my personal notes and find them very useful to share with students. Not to mention, I keep myself updated on changes to the curriculum so that lessons are relevant to the exams that students will be doing at school. Generally, I am a tutor that can adapt rapidly to the needs of each individual student and I prioritise getting to know my students on a friendly level, too, so that lessons are enjoyable as well as productive.

Lessons with me are an hour of productivity and, importantly, lots of fun! Over many years of tutoring, I have mastered the art of tailoring lessons to the needs of each. Each session is interactive and challenging to produce excellent results!
Previously, I tutored students ranging from 10-15 - working on their language skills for Spanish and English and practising pre-GCSE Mathematics. As a Hispanic Studies university student, I am well-equipped to tutor Spanish A-Level students.
