My approach to teaching is to strike a balance between enjoyment and really pushing oneself - where a lot of students go wrong in the build up to examinations is the tendency to neglect those areas they are not fully confident in.
I've taught students at every level, but it's important to remember that everyone is different. Lessons, in my view, should be structured and paced according to each individual's specific needs (although going over past papers doesn't hurt). Overall, the thing to remember is that one-to-one tuition really gets results. Simply put, I wouldn't do it otherwise.
