I lived in Japan for a year and tutored English to teenagers and the elderly. In America, I am an ESL tutor but I just adore exploring literature and making it more clear and exciting for other people to understand.

My teaching approach depends on who the student is! I've been lucky to have opportunities to switch and change how to go forward in a topic after assessing how the student feels about the topic and what they understand. From there, we can figure out what chunks the student doesn't understand and how to get them more comfortable and even confident with it.
