About Annika
I am a dedicated and enthusiastic year 11 student at Suzanne Cory High School, one of Victoria’s four selective schools. I have a strong passion for English and enjoy helping younger students improve their confidence and skills in reading, writing, and comprehension.
I am patient, supportive, and adaptable, and I always aim to create a positive learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and learning at their own pace. Having experience balancing a rigorous academic environment myself, as a student who improved drastically multiple times, I understand the importance of encouragement, clear explanations, and building strong study habits.
I am especially passionate about helping students not only improve academically, but also genuinely enjoy learning English.

I am currently a student at Suzanne Cory High School, one of Victoria’s four selective schools, and I am passionate about helping students build confidence and improve their English skills in a supportive and encouraging environment.
My lessons are tailored to each student’s needs and learning style. I focus on creating engaging, interactive classes that strengthen reading comprehension, essay writing, creative writing, grammar, vocabulary, and analytical skills. I also help students develop confidence in expressing their ideas clearly and effectively.
I believe patience, encouragement, and consistency are key to learning. I break down difficult concepts into simple, easy-to-understand steps and use practice activities, examples, and discussions to keep lessons engaging.
Lessons are typically 60 to 90 minutes long and are suitable for students from Year 2 to Year 9 of all abilities, whether they need extra support, homework help, exam preparation, or extension work.
