About Valerie
I have been learning the flute and the piano since I was a little child, and have grown up with my mother being a musician, so music has always been in my life. I started the flute when I was 9 years old, and have completed all the grades up to grade 8. I have supported my music teachers in concerts and summer schools, and have actively been included in musical environments. I have traditional Russian training, with very influential teachers that have taught me the techniques and skills I wish to share today.

My lessons range from 45 mins to 1hr and are tailored to suit my student’s needs. I have experience working mainly with children and young kids, and I have a DBS if wished for, but I am happy to work with everyone! I make learning fun, just as music should be. I value building a rapport with my student, whilst also achieving the person’s goals.
