About Sara
My name is Sara. I am a college student looking to help further what I hope to soon be my career. This is a great way to start out and it is helping children who may need the extra help from a tutor. I am very friendly and I do prefer to make connections with my students. It tends to be easier to teach and to communicate back and forth if a connection is established.

My approach is usually to try and explain and if that doesn't work, I will work with them, without giving away answers, so they can reach the answer on their own but still know how to do it.
Typically I would speak to a parent or guardian and see where they may be struggling, from there I will create a lesson plan that includes what the child is struggling with. I create lessons for grade levels K-6. Mathematics and English are the go-to's but can work with some Science too.
