I prefer my students to learn from their mistakes. After describing a new topic in few words I let my students to think, guess and try for themselves and encourage them to ask as many questions as they can.This helps me understand their thought process and spot the mistakes. Breaking complex concepts into smaller and primitive cases is another powerful technique.
