About Jacob
I graduated from the University of Central Arkansas in 2020 with my Bachelor's degree in Linguistics and Teaching English as a Second Language. Since I graduated I have continued studying language acquisition methods and have used these methods to help me acquire Chinese, a little Spanish, and a little Arabic. I use these same methods when teaching others. I’ve tutored many people and usually use Zoom meetings or Google meetings to share documents and illustrations with my students.

Over the past few years I’ve studied Chinese, Arabic, Spanish and Persian. My specialty in college was linguistics and language acquisition. So I know a few things about what it takes to increase proficiency in a language and it does not come from memorization or grammar. These traditional learning methods are boring and often lead to burnout and are not often suitable for language learning. My approach is through easy conversations that allow my students to be comfortable with English.

Jacob is the most wonderful teacher I have ever met he is very patient , good listener ,dedicated and diligent in his work he never escapes any pronunciation or grammatical mistake for me he always corrects all my mistakes he is clear in all of his explanations and insisted to convey any information with different ways untill he makes sure that you got it he is the only one that i feel comfortable to talk to without being afraid of judgement i feel that my speaking has been improved since we started our classes thanks to him ️️️
