- Classes
Classes are 1 hour and 20 minutes in duration and are broken up into discreet 10 minute activities (including computer, written and practical) to keep the learning fun. Each pupil (in a maximum class size of 5) works on their own learning programme based on their strengths and weaknesses (measured as part of a free educational assessment).
Lessons are run by qualified teachers and are held on Monday and Wednesday afternoons after school and on Saturday mornings. More options will become available as we go along.
We provide a positive learning environment and encourage each child to succeed.
- Ages and Levels Covered
Typically, we cater for pupils of all abilities aged 5 to 16 years, but also offer specialist support for SAT's, Entrance Exams and GCSE's. The levels we cover include early learning (preparation for school), KS1, 2 and 3 and GCSE (including specific grade improvement).
- Opening Times
Monday to Friday 3pm to 7pm and Saturdays 9am to 3pm
- Tuition Fees
Our standard tuition fee is £27 per lesson for a 1 hour and 20 minute lesson. There are no additional costs.

Sue:-
• fully qualified teacher with almost 30 years experience
• B.Ed (Hons) degree from the University of Warwick and a Professional Counselling Qualification
• worked in schools throughout Derbyshire and in more recent times has been employed by the LEA as an Advisory Teacher across both Primary and Secondary schools - delivering pastoral care and training with great skill and passion
• relishing the challenge of influencing for the better the lives of the children living in our region

Dave:-
• Masters Degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, from the University of Warwick
• 30 years experience in Manufacturing Industry centered on logistics functions where his mathematical and analytical skills have brought about considerable improvements and reduced costs significantly
• has worked in the Derby and Nottingham areas and enjoyed the challenges of helping UK Manufacturing remain competitive
• most recent positions have been at managerial level thus providing the necessary business skills to successfully run a Kip McGrath Education Centre
• Dave takes care of the Centre administration, allowing Sue to devote her time to the professional tutoring of the pupils.
