About Isobel
Hi, I'm Izzy. I have loved studying English from a super young age and my goal is to transfer some of this fun, enjoyment and enthusiasm into everyone I can. I'm super passionate about modern world literature and poetry but also a big fan of the classics like Shakespeare, Chaucer and Homer and I enjoy helping others to really understand and get to grips with a text. I'm hoping to continue my academic journey in English with a postgraduate so my enthusiasm has not wavered at all in the past decade or so and I hope to show anyone how much can be gained from English.

I would be happy to work across all levels from GCSE, A-level, as well as with University applications and University work too.
In lessons I can help with going through essays, making essay plans, analysing sections of text or poetry and also looking at academic theories and different techniques that students can refer to in their written work. Generally speaking I am super happy to just help with any English related query, Literature and Language. I received a 9 in my English Literature exam at GCSE and an 8 in my Language, going onto achieve an A* at A-level. I am hoping to graduate university with a high 2:1 or first class degree.
I am open to any age and lesson length is flexible but between 30 minutes and 60 minutes usually.
