About Alice
I was born and raised in France, and came to the UK 12 years ago to find work as a software engineer.
Since then, I've also worked at a bootcamp, training adult career changer to become developers.
I fell in love with teaching and I'm now going for teacher training in September next year.
I love learning myself, and I've been told my enthusiasm for learning is infectious. In fact, among my friends I am always the one sharing things I've just learned from books or experience.
In my free time, I enjoy being outdoors and I volunteer at a forest school.

I strongly believe any subject can be made simple with the right explanation. I love to find analogies and make drawings to support understanding.
I especially enjoy working with students who are finding the subject difficult as I believe I can show them differently and really boost their confidence and self-esteem.
My dad is a Mathematician and he passed on his love of maths to me, which I love to pass on myself by showing the magic and beauty of maths.
On the Computing side, I've taught hundred of adults to code, and I like to spark my students' curiosity with little projects and challenges.
I am very supportive and enthusiastic when I teach, and I really care about the success of all my students.
I like to do longer lessons (typically 1hr to 1hr20) so we can not only cover the material but also have some time to build rapport and trust which really helps with the learning process.
Lessons can be at your home or a local library.
