About Charlotte
I am a qualified and experienced primary school teacher who is passionate about helping children feel confident, capable and positive about their learning. Most recently, I was an Assistant Head Teacher in a dynamic East London primary school. I have experience teaching across the primary age range and understand that every child learns differently. I am patient, approachable and encouraging, while maintaining high expectations and helping children develop the skills they need to become independent learners. Whether your child needs additional support, is preparing for SATs or the 11+, or simply wants to feel more confident in a particular subject, I provide a calm and supportive environment where they can learn at their own pace and celebrate their progress.

I am an experienced and qualified primary teacher offering friendly, personalised tuition for children aged 5–11, including Year 6 SATs and 11+ preparation.
I tailor every lesson to the individual child, using engaging activities, clear explanations and plenty of encouragement to build both confidence and understanding.
Lessons typically last 60 minutes, with a balance of teaching, guided practice and independent work. I can support children across the primary curriculum, whether they need help catching up, consolidating their learning, preparing for an important exam, or simply developing greater confidence and independence. My aim is to make learning enjoyable while helping every child make meaningful progress.
