About Bella
Hi, I’m Izabella, a recent graduate of the University of Tennessee and an incoming medical student with a passion for science education and student success. Throughout my academic journey, I have developed a strong understanding of challenging STEM coursework and the study strategies needed to excel in demanding classes. Having successfully navigated courses like organic chemistry and earned admission to medical school, I understand both the challenges students face and the skills required to overcome them. My tutoring approach focuses on creating a supportive and personalized learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through difficult concepts, and building confidence in their abilities. My goal is not only to help students improve their grades but also to help them develop the critical thinking and problem-solving skills that will benefit them throughout their academic careers and beyond.

My goal as a tutor is to make organic chemistry feel less overwhelming and more approachable by helping students understand concepts rather than rely on memorization. I focus on breaking down complex topics such as reaction mechanisms, synthesis, stereochemistry, and spectroscopy into clear, manageable steps while emphasizing the patterns and logic that connect them. I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment where questions are always welcome and mistakes are viewed as opportunities to learn.
