About Mira
I am a passionate flute tutor with 9 years of teaching experience and around 150 students successfully trained across beginner to advanced levels. My teaching philosophy centres on building a strong technical base while nurturing confidence and musical expression.
I focus on essential skills such as breath control, posture alignment, embouchure development, tone clarity, articulation, and finger coordination. I believe that mastering fundamentals leads to long-term success.
Each student receives a personalised lesson plan tailored to their goals and learning pace. I also guide students in creating effective daily practice routines that promote steady improvement.
My unique strength lies in my ability to explain complex musical techniques in simple, easy-to-understand steps. I maintain a disciplined yet friendly environment where students feel motivated and comfortable to grow. My goal is to shape confident, expressive, and technically sound flute players who develop a lifelong love for music.

Step-by-step guidance ensures that students build strong fundamentals before moving to advanced techniques. As they progress, I introduce expressive elements such as dynamics, phrasing, and musical interpretation.
Alongside practical lessons, I teach music theory, sight-reading, and ear training to enhance overall musicianship. Flexibility helps me modify lesson plans according to individual goals.
I create a supportive and encouraging classroom atmosphere. I motivate students to practise regularly and overcome challenges confidently. My aim is to nurture disciplined, skilled, and passionate flute players who enjoy lifelong musical growth.
