About Adani

I’ve spent almost 3 years nannying and slowly started to turn towards a tutor and school helper. I’m currently in the midst of a semester off from college and on a mission to explore my passions. I love kiddos and school so this type of work seems ideal to me!

About the lesson

My teaching approach involves self exploration, challenging oneself, and ‘learning to learn’. By allowing a student to explore their own interests within the boundaries of reading academia they’re able to gain a greater understanding by establishing a connection to their work. A student must challenge themself to grow and help reach their full potential. Students often times jump into learning with few skills or tips to help them learn better. Learning to learn is a way for students to receive advice and tips on how to read and study in a way that will be most beneficial to them in their academic setting. This could look like a lesson on how to properly take notes from a reading or how to write a proper summary of a text.
