About Ella
I am confident in my teaching skills and therefore can provide efficient communication to my students so they feel more capable in their learning. I am approachable outside of tutoring sessions if you ever need a quick question answered and believe all questions are worth asking, even if you think they are simple. My recent completion of A-levels also should provide some comfort to students as I know first-hand the pressures that come with exams, and can also offer exam advice on top of my sessions.

My teaching methods involve explaining course content in detail using visual aids like mind maps and past papers, while providing innovative ways to revise to allow more effective independent study. Specifically for A-level Biology, I focus on familiarising students with exam style questions to allow them to practise and identify common themes that occur throughout past papers.
