About Eleni
I am an oil painter and illustrator based in London. I have worked as an artist’s assistant to the painter and lecturer Nelson Diplexcito and studied at the University of Leeds. I am proficient in drawing as well as acrylic and oil painting. I believe in developing your basic understanding and technique, which will be done in a simple and step by step manner. However, I also want to develop your individual areas of interest and enthusiasm for art! My approach is friendly and adaptable to your personal needs.

I have a strong knowledge of drawing fundamentals as well as many years of experience painting with acrylic and oil. I believe in creating an understanding of foundational drawing and artistic concepts (form, perspective, anatomy, lighting, tone, line weight etc.) initially and am happy to move towards focus on areas of interest/ development for individual students. We would work to nurture your own interests and style. I have worked as an artist’s assistant and studied at the University of Leeds. Lesson times can range from 60-120 minutes. Levels covered: beginner and intermediate.
