The methodology should be discussed with the student. Because they have different situations and goals. Some want to learn to talk, then we can invent more experimental classes with theater or projects to learn to speak. But if it is to learn grammar and learn writing, we will go through the fundamental rules of the language one by one, always trying to produce own texts as well.
