About Irena
Hello! How are you? I'm Irena, a qualified teacher with a second state examination (secondary level II) for German, Spanish, and German as a second/foreign language, and I have several years of teaching experience in both subjects. I love Spanish and everything related to Spanish-speaking culture. During and after my studies, I spent several months traveling in Spain and South America, so I know the people and linguistic differences quite well. I'm passionate about the language and teach with enthusiasm! I also really enjoy teaching German, especially as a second/foreign language. It motivates me to share my native language with others. I also enjoy preparing students for the Abitur (university entrance exam), analyzing poems and prose texts with you, or providing support with spelling and grammar. I offer online lessons (45 or 60 minutes) or in-person lessons in the Sarstedt/Hildesheim/Hanover area. I hold a BAMF certificate and am certified to prepare and administer DELE exams.

My lessons are structured, individualized, and practical. It's important to me that learners truly understand the material and can confidently apply it. Therefore, I adapt methods, pace, and focus to individual needs. I work with clear explanations, targeted exercises, repetition, and application-oriented tasks. A typical lesson begins with a brief review, followed by questions, exploring new content or delving deeper into current topics, and directly applying what has been learned. Oral language skills are very important to me, so you'll definitely be speaking in my lessons! :-) A respectful learning environment, clear explanations, and support tailored to individual strengths and challenges are particularly important to me. As a qualified teacher with a second state examination in German and Spanish, I combine professional expertise with teaching experience and a passion for language. My lessons are suitable for students of various grade levels, learners preparing for exams, and adults. I teach German, German as a second or foreign language, and Spanish.
