About Christopher
I have been a secondary school teacher for nearly 12 years, and have great passion for teaching my subject. I am also an ex-police officer, which has helped me to build up my own knowledge and confidence in teaching criminology.
Outside of my job I love playing rugby, as well as supporting my kids with their extra-curricular clubs.

I want my tutees to believe that they can learn and build up their confidence in science or criminology, by encouraging them to think via questioning, applying knowledge to solve problems, and link their learning to the real world - whether it is in their chosen field or to building up skills to supplement other subject learning. I also want to build up a great level of rapport so my tutees enjoy and maybe even look forwards to our sessions, helping them to build their confidence to ask for any help or support they need.
