Every student has the ability to grasp simple to complex concepts but the methodology needs to be appropriate. I try to link the student's previous knowledge to the new concepts so that the student finds the topics somewhat familiar and independently develops a unique structure / concept in his mind to receive and apply the new lesson being taught. Once the student has a grip over the topic, next is to make him comfortable with the topic which can be done by solving new questions first under the teacher's guidance and later without any expert guidance.
