About Teya
Hi! I’m an educator with a background in teaching and literacy education who loves helping students build confidence and actually enjoy learning. I believe the best learning happens when students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and growing at their own pace.
My tutoring style is supportive, encouraging, and personalized to each student’s needs. Whether we’re working on reading, writing, study skills, or general academic support, I aim to make lessons engaging, approachable, and stress-free while still helping students reach their goals.

My approach as a tutor is centered around making students feel capable, supported, and actively involved in their learning. I believe students learn best when lessons are engaging, clear, and connected to their individual needs rather than taught through a one-size-fits-all method!
