I have a degree in German from NTNU, and have many years of experience in teaching German as a foreign language, in primary as well as secondary school. In recent times, I have also built up competence in teaching online and adapting classroom methods to online teaching. I start where the level the student is when we start. The student's interests are also important. It is easier to learn a new language when you can use it to read, write and talk about topics that are interesting to you. You will have a plan with variation in methods, but where the most important thing is to build up the joy of gradually mastering a new language. Both written and oral activities will be part of the teaching, and digital aids will be a natural part.
