About Stephanie
Hello everyone! Wow, you made it to my profile, I can only thank you for getting this far and making it here. So you want to learn how to play the piano?
Perhaps you are an adult that wishes they started sooner, and you want to peacefully be able to play your favourite composers at the end of the day, or you may be looking to inspire your child’s love for music, or possibly you would like to resume a musical journey that you fell out of touch with it at some point in your life?
Whatever the reason, my lessons will be tailored individually based on the student's goals which can vary from anything between playing for fun, all the way to Grade 8!
I started piano lessons when I was 11 and reached Grade 7 when I was 19. I am now 23, and since then I have played in various environments that involve preparing for exams, studying at stage school, performing in college, and last but not least, relaxing. I am all about balance and will encourage this in your lessons so that you develop a healthy, well-rounded relationship with the instrument. I recently graduated from the Royal Holloway University of London and now I want to share my love of piano as a tutor that will help guide new musicians on their artistic journey, as they discover their style, explore their creativity and gain knowledge in piano and music theory.

My focus in these lessons is to enable a pupil’s understanding of the piano and additionally help build their confidence and skills as a musician. My methodology explores music as a language and can be achieved through the study of rythmn, technique, and reading skills. How quickly we progress is dependent on the students pace and comfort, alongside time spent together which will be lessons that can vary from a minimum of thirty minutes.
