Throughout my career, I have:
Designed, administered, and marked assessments for foundation and academic English programmes, ensuring alignment with standardisation and moderation practices.
Provided pastoral care and personal tutoring, supporting students’ academic progress and wellbeing.
Demonstrated strong administrative competence, including lesson preparation, report writing, meeting participation, and maintaining accurate student records.
Developed the ability to analyse language effectively and provide clear, constructive feedback on both spoken and written work.
In addition, my experience at Sultan Qaboos University strengthened my ability to liaise effectively with academic teams and senior leadership, coordinate academic processes, and meet strict deadlines under pressure. I am comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and I bring strong organisational and communication skills to all aspects of my work.
I am proficient in using educational technologies such as Moodle and Turnitin, and I have extensive experience teaching Arabic-speaking learners in the Middle East, which enables me to address their specific linguistic challenges effectively. My CELTA qualification and IELTS Teacher Trainer certification further support my expertise in EFL/EAP instruction and assessment.
