About Mallorie
I have tons of experience working with children and teaching them. I actually plan on next year going to major in elementary education because teaching has always been such a big passion of mine! I have worked at a daycare prior to this where I worked with all different age groups. I have also tutored and babysat growing up my whole life. I also did a part-time PreK program at my local high school as a student there. During this time, we prepared lessons for four- and five-year-olds to get them excited for learning but also prepare them for kindergarten. I have my high school diploma, and I graduated early. Your child is my top priority and making sure that they are successful and prepared to accomplish all their goals that they have.

I am different than other tutors because this is not just about money to me. I want this to be more than tutoring, I want it to be a space where your child feels comfortable and is excited to learn. My teaching method is very hands on. I feel like most people learn better by doing rather than me just explaining it. Growing up I hated just writing down stuff that never made sense to me but when I did it hands on, I finally understood. So, that is my teaching strategy. My lesson plan will start out with a catch up on their lives and just get them comfortable with me and talking to me. We then will get into the learning; I will observe your child while learning to understand what they need and what helps them understand because no child is the same. My lessons are for mostly younger kids in elementary and middle school, and I can teach a variety of different subjects!
