About Lily
Hello! My name is Lily, and I am a TEFL-certified English tutor with a passion for helping learners become more confident using English.
My teaching experience includes completing practical TEFL training and working with English learners through volunteer teaching. These experiences have taught me the importance of patience, encouragement, adaptability, and creating a learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
I understand that learning or speaking a new language can sometimes feel intimidating, especially when you are worried about making mistakes. My goal is to make learning English feel approachable and supportive while helping you make steady progress at your own pace.
I am especially interested in working with beginner and intermediate learners who want to strengthen their conversational English, vocabulary, pronunciation, and everyday communication skills.
As your tutor, I will respect your individual learning style and goals while providing patient guidance and meaningful opportunities to practice. You do not have to speak perfect English to start. You simply need a willingness to learn, practice, and grow.

My lessons are designed to help English learners feel comfortable, supported, and confident while improving their communication skills. As a TEFL-certified English tutor, I use a patient, encouraging, and personalized teaching approach that adapts to each student's goals, interests, and learning style.
A typical lesson may include a friendly warm-up conversation, vocabulary practice, pronunciation, speaking activities, reading or listening exercises, and practical examples of how English is used in everyday situations. I believe students learn best when they have opportunities to actively use English rather than simply memorize rules.
I especially enjoy helping beginners and learners who may feel nervous or lack confidence when speaking English. I create a welcoming environment where making mistakes is treated as a normal and important part of learning.
My lessons are ideal for beginner to intermediate learners who want to improve conversational English, everyday vocabulary, pronunciation, speaking confidence, and practical communication skills. Whether you want to become more comfortable having conversations, prepare for everyday situations, or simply practice English with a supportive tutor, lessons can be adjusted to match your individual needs and pace.
