About Carina

Hello! My name is Carina, and I am a TEFL-certified English tutor from the Philippines with over 4 years of ESL teaching experience and more than 7 years of professional experience in customer service, appointment setting, and business communication.

Throughout my career, I have worked with learners and clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, helping them communicate effectively and confidently in English. My experience has allowed me to develop strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills, which I bring into every lesson.

I specialize in Conversational English, Business English, interview preparation, pronunciation improvement, and workplace communication. Whether you are a beginner looking to build a strong foundation or an advanced learner aiming to refine your fluency, I will create lessons that are tailored to your individual goals and learning style.

As a tutor, I strive to create a positive, patient, and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable practicing English and asking questions. I believe that making mistakes is an important part of learning, and I encourage my students to speak confidently while we work together to improve their skills.

My goal is not only to help you improve your English but also to give you the confidence to use it successfully in everyday conversations, professional settings, travel, and personal growth.

I look forward to helping you achieve your English language goals and making your learning journey both enjoyable and rewarding.

My teaching approach is student-centered, practical, and encouraging. I believe that every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons based on each learner's goals, proficiency level, and learning style.

I focus on creating a comfortable and supportive environment where students feel confident expressing themselves in English without fear of making mistakes. I use real-life conversations, role-playing activities, guided discussions, and personalized exercises to help students develop their speaking, listening, vocabulary, grammar, and pronunciation skills naturally.

With over 4 years of ESL teaching experience and more than 7 years of professional communication experience in customer service and appointment setting, I help students learn English that they can use in real-world situations, whether for work, interviews, travel, or daily conversations.

My goal is not only to teach English but also to build my students' confidence so they can communicate clearly and effectively in any situation. I am patient, adaptable, and committed to helping each student achieve steady progress through engaging and meaningful lessons.
