About Yelizaveta
Hello! My name is Liza. I was born and raised in Kazakhstan, and my native language is Russian. I studied in Hungary, where I recently graduated, and now I travel frequently - which gives me plenty of opportunities to use English in real life and experience different cultures.
I have been tutoring since high school and have worked with children, teenagers, and adults. Altogether, I now have around 4 years of professional teaching experience. I am TEFL-certified, have an EF SET C2 certificate in English, and previously achieved C1 level on IELTS. I also have a DELF certificate B1 in French, although I am still learning it myself and do not teach French.
I genuinely enjoy languages and love sharing this interest with my students. I also like keeping up with modern English, new expressions, and the way the language changes over time.
Starting lessons can feel intimidating, especially if you are afraid of making mistakes — but mistakes are an important part of learning. My goal is to create a comfortable atmosphere where you can practice, ask questions, improve step by step, and enjoy the process.

My lessons are structured, practical, and adapted to each student’s goals. I combine clear explanations with speaking practice, targeted exercises, and personalized materials so that new grammar and vocabulary become useful in real communication.
A typical lesson includes a short warm-up, work on the main topic, guided practice, speaking or writing activities, and feedback with recommendations for further improvement.
What sets me apart is my ability to combine a clear learning structure with flexibility. I adjust the pace, materials, and level of challenge depending on the student and their progress.
I work with teenagers and adults from beginner to advanced levels, including students preparing for IELTS and other international exams, improving General or Business English, or simply wanting to speak more confidently and naturally.

Although I initially made a request for one exam and as a result we were preparing for it, I changed my mind and chose a completely different one, fearing that Elizaveta would refuse to prepare me due to difficulties of the structure. But, she found and understood all the details about another exam very quickly and prepared me very well!!
