About Emma

Hi, I’m Emma, a TEFL-qualified British English teacher from Leeds. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Forensic Psychology, and I’m preparing to move to South Korea in 2027 to begin a full-time English teaching position.

I’m friendly, patient and encouraging, and I want students to feel comfortable speaking English without worrying about being perfect. I enjoy helping people build confidence and communicate more naturally, especially in everyday situations.

I’m passionate about language learning myself, so I understand how intimidating it can feel to speak a new language. My aim is to make lessons supportive, enjoyable and useful, while helping each student progress at their own pace.

About the lesson

My lessons are relaxed, friendly and personalised around your goals. I can help with conversational English, British pronunciation, everyday vocabulary, grammar, speaking confidence and English for travel or daily life.

I aim to create a supportive environment where you can practise without feeling embarrassed about making mistakes. I can adapt lessons to your level, interests, and learning style, whether you prefer structured activities or more natural conversation practice.

I especially enjoy helping learners become more confident speaking English in real-life situations, rather than simply memorising rules from a textbook.
