About Nancy
Hi! My name is Nancy. I have always loved teaching others anything I know from languages, cooking to dancing. My teaching motto is: learning should be fun, instructive and adaptable to fit every persons specific way of learning. With my 10+ years of tutoring experience I've had the privilege of helping many types of students with different learning abilities. Some have been difficult. But I have found those are the best students; since they are the happiest when they are able to learn as well as anyone. Teaching is one of biggest gifts in life! My name is Nancy Fernandez and I am TESOL certified with 10 years of experience in tutoring and helping children learn. Have tutored children age 3 and older as well as adults.
My lessons can be from 30 minutes to an hour depending on the age of the student. Young learners from 3-6 are 30 minute lessons and will receive fun activities and goals to reach. If lessons are preferred to be longer for ages 3-6 it can be done just let me know please. All other ages, lessons are 1 hour long. My techniques are interactive, entertaining and educational. I have helped students one on one and also groups of different age groups.
