About Sara
I am a third-year medical student at Ross University School of Medicine with a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of South Florida. I completed the basic-science portion of medical school and passed USMLE Step 1, giving me experience studying microbiology at both the undergraduate and medical-school levels.
As a tutor, I help students identify meaningful patterns among organisms, diseases, diagnostic findings, and treatments. I use comparison charts, diagrams, memory tools, and practice questions to make dense material more manageable. I tailor every lesson to the student’s course level and individual needs.

Microbiology can become overwhelming when organisms, virulence factors, diagnostic tests, and treatments begin blending together. I help students organize the material into understandable patterns instead of relying only on memorizing long lists.
