About Meghan
I am a third year nursing student who has always had a strong interest in science and how the human body works. Over the years, I have built a solid academic background in basic math, chemistry, biology, and other sciences through both my studies and hands-on learning in nursing.
I am a very curious and dedicated person who enjoys learning new concepts and understanding how different scientific ideas connect together. I am also very patient and organized, and I take pride in being able to stay calm and focused when working through challenging material.
In my free time, I enjoy studying, reviewing course material to strengthen my understanding, and helping others around me when they are struggling with concepts. I find it rewarding to explain things in a way that makes them easier to understand.
I am currently supporting middle school, high school, and first-year university students in math, chemistry, biology, other sciences, and exam preparation. I also ask that students send their material at least 24-48 hours in advance so I can prepare properly and give the best possible support during our session.

My teaching approach focuses on breaking down complex concepts into simple, understandable steps. I use active recall, guided practice questions, and real world examples from science and healthcare to make learning more engaging and easier to remember. I also adapt my explanations to match each student’s learning style so they can fully understand the material rather than just memorize it.
A typical lesson begins with reviewing key concepts and identifying areas of difficulty. We then work through examples together, followed by independent practice where I assess understanding and correct misconceptions. I finish each session with a short recap and study tips so students know exactly what to focus on after the lesson.
What sets me apart is my strong science background in nursing combined with my ability to explain topics in a clear, patient, and structured way. I understand how challenging science courses can feel, so I focus on building confidence while improving academic performance.
My lessons are suitable for middle school, high school, and early university students who need support in math, chemistry, biology, other sciences, or exam preparation.
To provide the best possible support, I ask that students send me the lesson material at least 24-48 hours before the session so I can review it in advance and prepare targeted explanations and practice questions tailored to their needs.
