About Silvia
I teach Italian to children and adults and I can rapidly adapt my lessons to your taste, should you need a 30 minutes Italian conversation buddy or a deep text analysis. I love reading and can offer many suggestions on contemporary literature. My aim is to create a space where both of us can learn something. I am a passionate teacher with experience as a tutor with teenagers in Italian schools and tourists in Sicily. I usually prefer practicing conversation since the beginning as it's a good confidence boost, mixed with improving vocabulary and common sayings. Other online or book related resources could be useful for diving into my culture and understanding increasingly difficult texts. Considering that grammar is the tough and boring part of a language we can work on it slowly. And we won't always talk about food, I swear! ;)
