I take a student-centred approach to tutoring, focusing on making complex topics in GCSE Maths, Biology, and Chemistry understandable and relatable. I emphasise active participation, encouraging students to ask questions and solve problems to build confidence in their abilities. Each student receives a personalised study plan tailored to their specific needs and areas for improvement. I regularly assess progress to ensure we’re on track, adjusting the lesson plan as necessary to address any challenges. My goal is to help students not only understand the material but also develop the skills to apply it effectively in exams. A typical lesson lasts 60 minutes, though I offer flexibility depending on the student’s needs, with options for 45-minute or 90-minute sessions. My qualifications include top GCSE grades—9 in Biology and Chemistry, and 8 in Maths—along with experience tutoring peers, which has honed my ability to explain concepts clearly and effectively. I currently study maths, biology and chemistry as my A-levels. My tutoring is ideal for GCSE students aged 14-16 who need support preparing for exams, whether they’re aiming for high grades, struggling with certain topics, or simply looking to boost their confidence in these subjects. My approach is designed to meet each student where they are and help them achieve their academic goals.
