About Jeslin
I'm a post graduate with a major in geology and a minor in mathematics. I had to appear for IELTS and score C1 in CEFR framework to get admitted to higher studies at International programmes in my desired University. I prepared myself and at a good institute under a month and scored an overall 8 band with 9,8.5,7.5 and 7.5 in Reading, Listening, Writing and Speaking, respectively.
I found myself spare time between my visa procedure and had discovered an interest in IELTS training. I started as a trainer in a reputed institution where I was fortunate to meet aspirants whom I was able to give personal guidance in agreement to their individual requirements.
In IELTS, my strong suits had always been reading comprehension and versatile writing. Listening module, for me, could go well or south; which I corrected with consistent practice. As a tutor my aim is to make an aspirant make the most out of their strengths and to mitigate for their weak points.

The most valuable take away from my experience as an IELTS trainer was that each aspirant has a set of strong suits and mostly always an Achilles heel that challenges them to bag their desired score. Classes begin with a mock test to assess the aspirant's baseline proficiency in communicative English followed by lectures on each module covering respective strategies, time management, and practice sessions for every module; everything personalised to aspirant's experience in English. Practice sessions would include individual timed and untimed mock test for each module separately and together for the modules of the test that are conducted in sequence on the same day.
