About Harmony
Hi! I’m Harmony, a high school tutor specializing in math and SAT prep.
I scored a 730 on the SAT Math section and am currently ranked second in my class, so I bring both strong content knowledge and effective test strategies to my sessions. I’m also a straight-A student and have been trained through Schoolhouse.world, where I’ve worked with students around the world and understand the challenges they face.
I genuinely enjoy helping people understand math in a way that finally makes sense. I know how frustrating it can feel when things aren’t clicking, and I aim to create a space where students feel comfortable asking questions and building confidence.

My lessons are designed to be clear, interactive, and tailored to each student’s needs. I focus on breaking down concepts step-by-step so nothing feels overwhelming.
In our sessions, we will:
- Go through problems together and explain each step clearly
- Focus on patterns and strategies (especially for SAT Math)
- Work on timing and test-taking techniques
- Review mistakes so you actually learn from them
I adjust my teaching style based on how you learn best, whether that’s more practice, more explanation, or both. My goal is not just to help you get the right answer, but to understand how to approach similar problems on your own.
In our first session, we’ll assess your current level and create a plan based on your goals.
