About Andy
I’m a qualified English as a Foreign Language tutor based in Bristol, with 15+ years coaching and mentoring people to build skills, confidence, and reach their potential. Alongside teaching, I am currently training as a therapeutic counsellor, which has strengthened my listening and communication skills and helps me support learners from many different backgrounds.

Learning a new language can feel intimidating, but it doesn’t have to be. My goal is to help you feel relaxed, confident, and supported while improving your English step by step.
I enjoy creating lessons where learners feel comfortable speaking, making mistakes, and progressing at their own pace.
My lessons focus on real communication, not just grammar exercises. We’ll work on the English you actually need for everyday life, conversations, and work situations.
