About Andrei
I'm a third-year Mathematics student at Trinity College Dublin and have been tutoring students in Maths, Physics, and Computer Science since 2021. I'm familiar with a wide range of exam formats and curricula, including the Irish Junior and Leaving Cert, GCSE, SAT, ACT, GRE, AP, and A-Levels.
With Olympiad-level experience and a strong track record in competitions, I help students grasp new concepts effectively and with confidence. I also serve as the quizmaster for Trinity's Mathematics Society, so making maths and science engaging and accessible is part of what I do every day.

I tailor each lesson to the student's needs, whether they're preparing for Irish exams (Junior Cycle, Leaving Cert), UK-based tests (GCSE, A-Levels), U.S. standardized tests (SAT, ACT, GRE, AP), or competitions and Olympiads. My goal is to enrich their creativity and problem-solving skills, which are essential not just for exams, but for all branches of science. I also focus on building a solid theoretical foundation, something the student can understand clearly, remember easily, and apply confidently in problem-solving.
I provide all necessary materials along the way. Lessons are one hour long and can be held online or in person (if local). Let's make maths and science work for you and aim for that perfect score!

Andrei is an excellent tutor with a great understanding of Leaving Cert level maths and physics. He has a very organised and patient approach to tutoring, and he is great at shining a light on difficult concepts. He is very good at confidence building and providing helpful examples.
I've always struggled with maths and I found it hard to find a teacher who could explain properly and adjust the subject to my needs. In Andrei I found not only a teacher, but also a great support in my endeavours to fulfill my goals. He is patient, understanding, very well prepared and able to explain properly even the most difficult problems related to the subject he teaches (things like function graphs, logarithms and complex geometrical concepts). I warmly recommend him to anybody who needs help in understanding maths.
