About Jayla
I am a Tulane University junior specializing in English and a tutor with both Ignite Tutoring and Stair Tutoring. I provide personalized, results-driven lessons tailored to each student’s learning style and academic goals. Whether a student is working to improve reading comprehension, strengthen writing skills, master grammar, or build overall confidence in English, I design structured lesson plans that make complex material clear and approachable.
Through my work with Ignite Tutoring and Stair Tutoring, all of my students have demonstrated significant growth in both reading and writing during their time working with me. I emphasize clear explanations, guided practice, and actionable feedback so students can see measurable improvement and gain confidence that extends beyond our sessions.
My goal is to help students not only raise their academic performance, but also develop lasting skills that support long-term success.
