About Susannah
I graduated in 2019 with honors and a bachelor's in biology. I tutored biology in high school, and worked as a tutor, teaching assistant, and study skills mentor in college. Since graduating, I have been working in a biological research lab, where I have participated in scientific research. I believe in teaching the whole student and that physical and mental well-being are very important for scholarly success.

Socratic method, asking questions to "educere," or draw-out knowledge from within and encourage independent thinking. I use quizzing to facilitate true understanding and deep learning, and to prepare for tests. I approach topics from numerous angles : written, visual, auditory, qualitative and quantitative. We will learn and practice memorization techniques. I believe in balancing wonder and appreciation of the subject matter with practical strategies for testing success.
Lessons for high school to college students.
I am also available for proofreading written assignments in any subject.
