About Chaundra
Chaundra McGill is a dedicated tutor who helps students from kindergarten through college build both skills and confidence. Through her work with Grade Potential Tutoring, she guides K–6 learners in reading, mathematics, and science, and supports middle school, high school, and college students in English and history. Her teaching philosophy is simple: meet every student where they are, break intimidating material into clear and manageable steps, and create an encouraging space where it's safe to learn by trying.
What makes Chaundra distinctive is the 18-year career she brings to the table. As a former Editor-in-Chief and marketing communications professional, she spent nearly two decades turning complex ideas into clear, engaging language for wide audiences—the very same skill that now helps her students finally understand concepts that once felt out of reach. Patient, organized, and genuinely invested in each learner's success, Chaundra doesn't just help students find the right answer; she helps them understand why, and helps them believe they're capable of more than they thought.

What I add is 18 years of professional experience in writing, marketing communications, and journalism—a career built entirely on making complicated things clear and holding an audience's attention.
