About Alex
I’m a passionate student with a deep love for English, modern literature, reading, and Latin. For me, tutoring isn’t just about drilling grammar rules or memorizing texts, it’s about unlocking the joy of learning and helping students see connections between words, ideas, and the wider world. I’ve always believed that language is more than communication; it’s a bridge. Whether it’s the elegance of Latin roots shaping modern English, or the way a piece of literature can spark empathy across centuries, I want to help students see the beauty and relevance of what they’re studying. I started teaching because I know how overwhelming school can feel when you don’t have the right guidance or when lessons feel too abstract.
